April 20 – April 26: Still Jersey Strong!
We hope everyone is still staying safe and healthy indoors!
Let’s try to remain positive and grateful for the little things in life, as hard as that sounds! We are thankful for all our first responders, healthcare workers, readers, business owners, Jersey City residents…everyone that makes this City great! Also, a big “thank you” to all organizations and residents that are donating goods and food to our hospitals. You are all amazing!
With that being said- sit back, relax and read on!
We have a couple of updates for some HDSID events! The tentative date for the Historic Downtown Farmer’s Market to return is May 28th at 4:00 at the Grove PATH Plaza. If we have to change or update any information, we will let everyone know.
Also, even though the outdoor Groove on Grove concert series start date has been moved towards the summer months, our Groove on Grove At Home series begun last week! You’ll be able to enjoy the music from the comfort of your own home AND have the opportunity to win cool prizes from local businesses like Gallerie Hudson, The Hair Room, N-Joyable Hair Studio and more! Watch the Facebook Live events on Wednesday, follow our Facebook page for updates and check out the prizes each week.
This week’s concert event features Twiddlin Thumbs! On Wednesday, April 22nd, at 4:00 – 5:00 pm, enjoy the Twiddlin Thumbs on Groove on Grove from the comfort of your home! Check our Groove on Grove Facebook page for the amazing performance. Not only will you get to enjoy the music, but one lucky viewer will win a $50 gift card from The Hair Room!
