April 6 – April 12: Stay Strong Jersey City!
We hope everyone is staying safe, sane and healthy.
The same information included in the last blog post is still in effect: most activities (if not all) are either postponed or canceled as a precaution and due to the City’s executive order.
We understand that restlessness has truly set in and people are eager to get out. Please listen to our local City government.
Let’s all be safe, continue to support one another, and be kind!
We would like to reiterate that the vast majority of the HDSID’s businesses are owned, operated and staffed by residents. So, there is a curfew and dining out is prohibited, but there are still many ways you can support local businesses during these wearisome times.
Please note that you can still purchase gift cards or continue shopping online from some of your favorite spots like Salvation Wellness, Word Bookstore, Kanibal & Co and more! AND you can still indulge in your favorite local bites- delivery or pick up options from local downtown establishments are available!
For a comprehensive list of open dining destinations that are offering delivery and/ or pick-up during this time, please visit:
Please consider delivery or pick-up from these downtown establishments:
Clove Garden of India
Pasta dal Cuore
and many more!
Please visit our social media pages for more information. For a list of food businesses operating during this time, please visit https://www.jerseycitynj.gov/cms/One.aspx?objectId=16575221&contextId=6189744
