We hope you all had a great Valentine’s/ Galentine’s Day! If you thought last week had back-to-back events, sit tight and read on! The District has a slew of new events that will keep you and your family busy, entertained and informed.
President’s Day Camp
Don’t know what to do with the kiddos on President’s Day? It’s great that they have the day off but sometimes it’s hard to find a fun activity or camp for them on days like these. Enter My Gym with their President’s Day Camp on Monday, February 17th from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm! This event is for kids from 2.5 to thirteen years old. The little ones must be bathroom independent. Here’s what you need to know about the sessions, times and pricing:
- Morning 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
- Afternoon 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm
- Early drop off is 8:00 am to 9:00 am and it’s $10 per child
- Late pick up is 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm and it’s also $10 per child
- For My Gym Members, the cost is $40 per child per session and $20 for any additional siblings
- For Non-Members of My Gym, the cost is $50 per child per session and $25 for additional siblings

Boosting Baby’s Development: A Workshop for Parents

As per the organizers, this workshop will “build courage, strength, compassion, and wisdom… (During the workshop, you will) work on handstand, forearm stand, shoulder stand, and headstand – practice increasing flexibility, strength, and balance to achieve these powerful postures. Even if you don’t leave having achieved the perfect pose, you will leave with a new understanding and the practices that will get you there.”
