June 8 – June 14: Happy June!
We hope everyone is doing well! We almost at the finish line: businesses are slowly starting to re-open and everyone is continuing to take precautions to ensure we are all healthy.
Continue being proactive, wear masks and help support local businesses!
We support our community and every resident in our great City and beyond!
Historic Downtown Farmer’s Market
The Farmer’s Market is held every Monday and Thursday at the Grove PATH Plaza and the First Green area of the Newark Avenue Pedestrian Mall from 4:00 – 8:00 pm!
Stop by and get all of your food essentials and maybe a cookie or two!
The health of our farm vendors, HDSID staff, and visitors is of utmost important so we have implemented a set of guidelines for everyone to follow. We want everyone to have an easy and stress-free time shopping for goods at the Market. Kindly take a moment to review the customer guidelines listed below. Guidelines were also implemented for the Market staff and the vendors.
We have taken into account the rules and regulations set forth by the Jersey City Department of Health and Human Services. Kindly review the guidelines before attending the Market.
- If you feel ill, please stay home
- If you’ve come into contact with someone who has either tested positive for COVID-19 or has symptoms of COVID-19, please stay home
- All customers must wear masks and gloves
- Stay 6 feet apart from other customers
- The Market will have signs, lines, and information on where to stand
- Follow the signs placed throughout the Farmer’s Market
- Customers are not allowed to touch the food. Vendors will select products for customers.
- Please consider placing and paying for your orders online, at https://www.localline.ca/historic-downtown-farmers-market
- Please do not linger at the market
- Avoid any hand-to-hand contact
- Do not hand payment to vendors directly. Place cash and credit cards on the table for the cashiers to pick up.
