Wednesday Night Bluegrass

Start the party before Thanksgiving on Wednesday, November 27 from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm at The Archer! Listen to some live bluegrass music from The Go Bailers. The band performs every Wednesday at The Archer and on any given performance day you’ll see and hear Rob Hecht on fiddle, Sean Kiely on guitar, Larry Legend on bass and a guest!

ALDO’s Reunion 2019 at FM!

Looking for a different vibe? The district has that covered courtesy of FM and Aldo’s! On Wednesday, November 27th at 8:30 pm, celebrate the influence of Aldo’s Dance Club! Head on out to experience the ambiance of Aldo’s at FM: listen to everything from punk to reggae and everything in between courtesy of Aldo’s DJs. Admission into this night of nostalgia and great music is $10 and the doors open promptly at 8:30 pm.

Thanksgiving Robotics Camp

Still recovering from that dose of tryptophan? Want to do some shopping? Or do you just want to relax for a couple of hours after the craziness of Thanksgiving Day? You don’t have to be guilty about anything thanks to Code Wiz! The kiddos won’t sulk around the house saying there are bored thanks to a Robotics Camp on Friday, November 29th from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. During this one-day camp, kids will “build and program a base model robot to perform one or two FLL (First Lego League) challenges” and features “EV3 Mindstorms and Lego Wedo robotics curriculums” as per the organizers. This is a great introduction to the world of coding!

Holiday Tree and Menorah Lighting Ceremony


The Historic Downtown Special Improvement District will have its Annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony at the Pedestrian Mall on Tuesday, December 10, 6:00 pm – 6:30 pm!

Please join Mayor Steven Fulop and the HDSID in celebrating the holiday season as we light the Christmas Tree and Menorah.

There will be music by Dancing Tony/ (The) Rock-it Docket. Smile Preschool and Nursery will give out toys to children in need for the Holiday Season (while supplies last.) Busy Bee Organics will be on hand selling their famous hot cocoa!

AND Santa is coming in on a fire truck to visit and say hello! This is a free and fun event for all!
