Join Gay Talese for a celebration of his newest book, High Notes 7-10pm
Selections from six decades of the illustrious career of Gay Talese, one of the most important nonfiction writers of our time, with an introduction by Lee Gutkind. An RSVP on Facebook is encouraged, but not required.  Seating and standing room will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Saturday Jan. 21st – Storytime at Word Books 

Join author M. Earl Smith for a reading of his new book Little Karl at 11am.
In this colorfully illustrated book, the core thoughts of Marxist theory are presented through the voice of a young Karl Marx, allowing a new generation to explore Marx’s concepts without preconceived fears and allowing readers of any age to understand Marxist thought.
