Monday June 5th Negroni Week at Atlas Public House 

Join Atlas on June 5th for the Official NJ Kickoff Party for Negroni Week 2017. Atlas has teamed with The Archer and other talented mixologists from all over the state. Mixologists from each restaurant will guest bartend throughout the evening to showcase their unique Negroni Cocktails. A portion of the proceeds from Negroni sales and all the proceeds from raffle and 50/50 sales will be donated to City Harvest. Tuesday June 6th – Art Gallery Opening at LITM

LITM’s monthly art show opens this week! LITM presents works by Jersey City based artist and photographer Kofi Ofori who takes a look at 3 subjects of worship that flourish in our society today. Tuesday June 6th Speakeasy Burlesque at Talde

The first Tuesday of every month Talde hosts the Speakeasy Burlesque at Miss Wong’s Lounge. Join  Jersey City’s own Lillian Bustle for Speakeasy Burlesque, a delightful romp through a world of glamour and glitter. Singing! Dancing! Prizes! Surprises! Did we mention glitter? Don’t miss the June installment of this monthly show in the sultry Miss Wong’s Lounge below Talde Jersey City! $10 cash at the door, drink specials all night. Doors to Miss Wong’s at Talde will open at 7:30, showtime at 8pm, 21 and up, 8 Erie Street.


Wednesday June 7th – A Toast to a Healthy Summer!

Wednesday June 7th – Riverview Jazz Festival comes to Groove on Grove

Riverview Jazz is a week long festival of live Jazz performances throughout the city. This week’s Groove on Grove, A Riverview Jazz Fest runs Through It, kicks off at 6pm with  Kadian Quartet followed by  Maniacs of the Fourth Dimension at 7:30pm. 


Wednesday June 6th – Henna Tattoos at Modern Sage

Join Swati Ragosti at Modern Sage from 6:30-7:30pm for henna tattooing! Hand, palm or arm. Choose design or let her freestyle. Henna is beneficial for mind and body, plus they are beautiful and look super cool. As all things, they are impermanent – with good care will last up to 2 weeks. Tattoos start at $10.


Thursday June 8th – Riverview Jazz Festival comes to JCity Realty

Riverview Jazz is a week long festival of live Jazz performances throughout the city. On Thursday they are back in the HDSID at JCR for a Swing Dance Party featuring  Swingadelic!  7:00 – 9:00 pm. Visit JCR for more info!


Thursday June 8th – Craft Class at Kanibal & Co.

Kanibal & Co. hosts a make-your-own all natural body scrub workshop 7:30-9pm. Participants will learn about the benefits natural moisturizers and exfoliants and will have the opportunity to craft two luxurious body scrubs. Thursday June 8th Vinyasa & Vino at Three Little Birds

Get your yoga on and enjoy some Rosé! Enjoy an unforgettable evening of chill yoga followed by a fun and exploratory wine tasting.Wine educator and entertainer, Lourdes Arena, will introduce three types of Rosé to kick-off the summer! Saturday June 10th Story Time at Word Books

It’s story time with Harmonica Sunbeam at Word Books. Sunbeam encourages the creativity and boundless energy & excitement of child’s play as they relate to both gender neutrality and non-conformity, while promoting positive LGBTQ role models. Harmonica Sunbeam will read oppression and ism-free books and timeless favorites in addition to leading participants in song between stories. 11AM-Noon
